That was a gsuperway to celebrate your birthday. Onward with all your causes. Your blog came up on my office email because it ended with a quote efrom my late husband, Fred Friendly. “Our job is to make the agony of decision-making so intense, you can escape only by thinking.”

How serendipitious that it should come up today for me — today, March 3 is the anniversary of his death 3,3,1998. A great man — with guts, brains, driven, creative, imapginative, a doer!

Fred would say — “Forget that I died — remember that I lived!” …and I do.
